The movie narrates the journey of four Cree siblings—Connie, Marianne, Gwen, and Anthony—who were separated during their infancy due to Canada's infamous Sixties Scoop, a tragic period when Indigenous children were removed from their families and placed for adoption with white families. Eager and curious yet also nervous and apprehensive about possible rejection, the siblings decide to reunite for the first time during a holiday weekend amid the scenic mountains of Banff.
