Jeannie is a troubled 17-year-old girl from West L.A., struggling with her secret identity and self-destructive tendencies. As she navigates the challenges of school, friendships, and her first romantic relationship with another girl, she also copes with the tension between her divorced, constantly arguing parents. In search of positive energy, Jeannie buys a Native American pendant, but unexpectedly, the pendant causes the spirits of her deceased parents to inhabit her body, leading to unforeseen consequences.
