Katie decides to accompany her brother Dan and his girlfriend Luciana on an exciting journey to Peru. Dan has grand plans to propose to Luciana at the iconic Machu Picchu by the end of their trip and relies on Katie’s fluency in Spanish to seek Luciana’s Peruvian father's blessing. However, their proposal plans hit a snag when Luciana’s friend, Chef Carlos, unexpectedly arrives and unintentionally disrupts each attempt. Determined not to give up, Katie goes to great lengths to ensure the proposal happens. Just when Dan decides to call it off, Katie embraces Chef Carlos’ spontaneous nature to turn things around. In the process, not only is the proposal saved, but Carlos might also capture Katie’s heart!
