First Look Images Unveiled for "The Dutton Ranch" Series Focusing on Beth and Rip
Paramount has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated new series set in the Yellowstone universe. Titled The Dutton Ranch, the show is scheduled to premiere on May 15, 2026. Fans can expect to watch the debut episode alongside the second episode, which will be available simultaneously on Paramount+ streaming and the Paramount Network cable channel. The first season will feature a total of nine episodes.
Plot Details and New Setting
Although the original series’ finale hinted at certain storylines, the new series shifts its setting from Montana to South Texas. Showrunner Chad Feehan revealed that the narrative will center on Beth and Rip as they attempt to forge a new life far from their past struggles.
The official synopsis describes a fierce rivalry between their new ranch and an opposing family, whose members are determined to cling to their dominance at any cost. The storyline explores themes of survival, loyalty, and moral dilemmas, where family bonds and trust are tested amidst intense conflict.
Cast Members
Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser will reprise their iconic roles as Beth and Rip. The cast for Season 1 also includes Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Mark Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind. Notably, Hollywood veterans Ed Harris and Annette Bening will also appear, along with Finn Little returning as Carter, continuing his role from Yellowstone.
Expanding the Yellowstone Universe
With The Dutton Ranch, the franchise’s second spinoff series is set to launch in 2026. Earlier, the series Yellowstone: Lawmen debuted on CBS, featuring Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton.
According to showrunner Spencer Hudnut, both series are interconnected within the same timeline, leaving open the possibility of future crossover events and story arcs.
Anticipation and Audience Excitement
This new addition continues to expand one of the most successful and beloved TV franchises in recent memory. The creators are focusing on delivering compelling storytelling, charismatic characters, and high-stakes conflicts, all while maintaining the gritty spirit of Yellowstone but exploring new locations and themes.
Early images have already generated buzz among fans, and the announced premiere date gives viewers ample time to countdown to the return of their favorite characters and stories to the small screen.
