Oscar, a middle-aged and unpredictable man, is a once-aspiring writer who has long since abandoned his dreams. Now unemployed and residing with his family, he drifts through the streets of Medellín in a constant haze of alcohol, lamenting the decline of literature in his homeland. Having fallen into the familiar trope of the tortured artist, he feels disconnected from hope. However, when a young student seeks his guidance, Oscar sees a glimmer of redemption—an opportunity to reclaim his purpose, provided he can overcome his own flaws and not ruin it.
