Stéphanie, an Internal Affairs police officer, is tasked with investigating a case concerning a young man who was seriously injured amid a turbulent and intense protest in Paris. Although she uncovers no proof of unlawful police brutality, the investigation becomes personal when she realizes the victim hails from her own hometown.
