Mridul, a retired military officer, makes his way back to Assam alongside his wife and two adult daughters after years of working abroad. Upon returning, he visits his elder sister’s house, where he unexpectedly becomes involved in arranging the marriage of his nephew, Indu. What begins as a simple family matter soon spirals into a village-wide affair, drawing in the entire community for what turns out to be one of the most unusual and memorable marriages the village has seen in recent times.
