In a tranquil seaside town in Britain, Santana, a young woman haunted by her overbearing family, seeks freedom by fleeing her oppressive home. She escapes with her volatile boyfriend, Frank, and the two marry in a dilapidated coastal venue, dreaming of a new beginning. However, their hopes are shattered one rural night when a mysterious vehicle crashes into their car, instantly killing Santana and plunging Frank into overwhelming grief and obsession.
