Dong-hwan, who has taken over his blind artisan father Yeong-gyu’s seal engraving workshop, convinces him to participate in a documentary highlighting his journey as a master craftsman who has triumphed over his disability. However, the filming takes an unforeseen twist when the remains of their wife and mother, missing for forty years, are found. As Dong-hwan delves into hidden family secrets, he also uncovers the story of a woman whose identity has been wiped from public memory, remembered only as an "ugly monster."
