This revelation highlights significant loopholes in the government’s welfare system. Later, at university, Do-hyun teams up with his friend Ji-woo to exploit government entrepreneurial subsidies by intentionally failing to meet criteria, taking advantage of the system’s leniency. Driven by a desire for greater wealth, Do-hyun ventures into a questionable cryptocurrency scheme alongside investor Kevin, leaving Ji-woo behind. Although the venture initially yields profit, it ultimately collapses under regulatory pressure. Their attempt to generate larger profits through risky means backfires, turning their ambition into a perilous “Death Business.”
